UFC Vegas 59 takes place tonight from UFC APEX in
Las Vegas. As always, MMA24 News welcomes you to the first UFC Vegas 59 results
and analysis. The main event features a thrilling clash between top ten light
heavyweights Thiago Santos and Jamahal Hill and the co-main event between
welterweight contenders Vicente Luque and Geoff Neal.
Jamahal Hill def. Thiago Santos
In the main event, Jamahall Hill advanced to a title
shot with his third straight win after earning a TKO of Thiago Santos in their
light heavyweight bout. The fight was quite interesting with plenty of thrills.
As the bell rang both fighters were swinging wildly
with some big strikes successfully on the feet. The second round saw Santos
sustain several leg kicks before briefly taking Hill down before both men
managed to land some wild punches.
In round three, Santos outflanked Hill for most of
the round but was unable to do much damage. In round four, both men traded
wild punches, and Santos fell to the canvas as the body labored before Hill
put him away with some savage ground and pound. As a result, Amahal Hill def.

Geoff Neal def. Vicente Luque
In the co-main event, Geoff Neal scored a stunning
KO win over Vicente Luque in their welterweight bout.
In the first round, Neal put on an impressive
performance, shocking Luque numerous times and sending him to the canvas at the
end of the round. Round two saw Luque recover to take the win on his feet, but
Neal responded with some effective strikes of his own.
Then in round three, Neal rocked Luque with a
blistering left, then against the fence, blasting the Brazilian with a series
of uppercuts before sending him face-planting to the canvas with a savage left.

Juliana Miller def. Brogan Walker
Julianna Miller scored an impressive TKO victory
over Brogan Walker to win the women's flyweight The Ultimate Fighter final,
earning her a UFC contract.
In the first round, Miller took Walker down early
and dominated the rest of the round from the top. Round two saw Miller take
Walker's back and attempt a bare knee from behind. Walker escapes but only to
be taken down again. In round three, Miller continued his grappling dominance,
taking Walker down before unleashing a barrage of savage elbows that saw the
ref step in.
