The UFC is
just hours away from its upcoming action-packed mixed martial arts (MMA) event,
UFC Vegas 61, headlined by 115-pound strawweight Mackenzie Dern (12-2MMA,
7-2UFC) and Xiaonan Yan (15-3MMA, 6-2UFC). This Saturday night (October 1,
2022) on ESPN+ inside the promotion's APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Including the welterweight co-headliner between Randy Brown (15-4MMA, 9-4UFC) vs.
Francisco Trinaldo (28-8MMA, 18-7UFC).
As everyone
knows that before the fight all the fighters have to go through the battle of
scales. Mackenzie Dern (12-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) and Yan Xiaonan (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC)
both made weight for the main event of UFC Fight Night 211 at UFC Apex on
Friday without issue. which airs on ESPN+.
Xiaonan was
the first fighter to step on the scale during the official two-hour weigh-in
window. He weighed 115.5 pounds. Darren got on the scale about 35 minutes into
the action and weighed in at 115.5 to make the headliner official.
