LFA 126 which was held on Friday at Complexo Robalta
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But despite two empty title fights, LFA won only one
champion title on their return to Brazil.
Syria's main competition was the LFA Featherweight
Championship, however, only Jonas Bilharnoho could win it as late substitute
Jose Morrow du Amaral Delano weighed in at a pound. It was more than just a
footnote as Delano (10-2) offered more fights than many pundits expected.
Equipped with an unconventional striking style,
Delano managed to get Belharinho (9-2-1) early in the game, maintaining the
pressure and controlling the fight from a distance by descending from damaging
punches. ۔ "Joshua" will finally be alive in Round 4, and he will
have a few moments in the final frame, but it was too short, too late when
Delano walked down his fellow Brazilian. After five rounds of action, Delano
went on to win a unanimous decision with scorecards 50-45, 50-45 and 48-47 but
no ballots.
After the fight, Delano vowed to lose weight in his
next outing, if the LFA gave him another chance. Dinka of loss for Bilharinho,
which many fans thought was the abolition of DWCS in 2021. Bilharinho knocked
out a high-light rail wheel kick in the series, but was not contracted by the
UFC president.
Meanwhile, the main competition was for the vacant
LFA Welterweight title, although only Gabriel de Souza Bonfim was able to win
it when Eduardo Garvon put up an embarrassing bout at 5.8 pounds. Apparently
insulted, Bonfim (12-0) came out with fire and quickly took out Garvon
(13-4-1). After winning on foot, Bonfim managed to close the arm triangle
square to win the 170-pound title. The win came in Round 1 at just 1:19.
Ed Source,
CEO of LFA 126, a longtime manager of legendary Brazilian fighters Anderson
Silva, Lyoto Machida, and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, has hinted that Brazil will
be in regular promotion from here. The LFA plans to return in May 2022.
