PFL Challenger Series 5 Preview

PFL will return to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on Friday night with its new installment this week's PFL Challenger Series 5 after its recent stellar performance. The PFL Challenger Series 5 will feature four brilliant and action-packed light-hearted contests, with Brazil's Bruno Miranda (13-3) taking on the United States' Carson Frei (9-4). In the co-host event, Bosnia's Damir Ferhatbegovic (5-2-1) competed against New Zealand's B.J. Will be from Bland (16-10). The ceremony is scheduled for 9 p.m.

First let's talk of the PFL Challenger Series 5 main event:

Bruno Miranda, who trains at Thailand's famous Tiger Muay Thai Gym, is currently leading a four-fight winning streak in Friday's PFL Challenger Series 5 main event. Miranda will definitely end the fight, as he has done in 10 of his 13 wins, most of which come through KO / TKO.

Carson Frei, who trains with Rose City FC in Oregon, is looking for the biggest win of his career so far. Since leaving his first professional bout in 2015, Frei has won six fights in a row. Since then, Frei has evenly divided his last six fights into three wins and three losses. Frei is coming off a recent first-round submission win against Westin Wilson (12-6) under the Fairce FC promotion.

While in PFL Challenger Series 5 Co-Main event:

Ferhatbegovic is one of the young prospects on the card, but in the past, he has competed against current / former UFC fighters Jonathan Pearce and Luis pena in 2017, where the Bosnian fighter combined and lost both. Given that only two professional losses of a Bosnian fighter have been inflicted on UFC caliber fighters, there is an interesting possibility to see on Friday night.

B.J. Bland, who has competed in 26 professional competitions, appears on the card as the most experienced fighter. Since 2019, Blend has started winning three fights, including two submission wins. Fans should wait for the competition between an up and coming and an experienced veteran who is finally looking to participate in big promotions.

The action doesn't end there, but on the card, Canada's Michael Dufort (8-4) will face Armenia's Arut Pogosjan (9-3). It will almost certainly be a fierce battle as Duffort has eliminated his opponents in all eight of his professional victories, while Pogosjan has eliminated more than half of his opponents.

Starting Friday's card will be a contest in which Israel's unbeaten Yanel Ashmoz (5-0) will face 23-year-old Dennis Hughes (7-3) of the United States. Ashmoz, who is undefeated, has eliminated all his opponents through KO / TKO or previous bare squares. His victory goes to Ryan Rizco and Luis Abdullah.

Hughes, the youngest fighter on the card, is set to win three fights and is in fact the current UFC newcomer to A.J. Fletcher returns to the amateur scene when he was just 21 years old. Hughes has never ended his professional career. It will be a very interesting fight to start the event on Friday night.

The new series could see players shooting for a PFL deal that could either serve as a development deal or in the 2022 regular season roster of live promotion to compete for its $ 1 million prize. Can make room Each week a fighter will receive a contract from a specific division.
