the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California. In which Bellator MMA
featherweight kingpin and No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound star Patricio 'Pitbull'
Freire will defend his world championship against Hungary's Adam Borics.

Freire
(33-5) has been Bellator's 145-pound king on three separate
occasions and the promotion's lightweight champion. Freire is once
again seeking double champion status, but this time he's aiming for the
bantamweight title. Freire made his professional debut in 2004 at the age of
16. He joined Bellator in 2010 and compiled a 21-5 record with the promotion.
"Pitbull" is a three-time Bellator featherweight champion. In 2017 he
won the title for the second time and defended it at the Bellator Featherweight
Grand Prix.
Patricio Pitbull lost the title against AJ McKee in 2021. But then regained the belt last April by defeating AJ McKee.
Borics (18-1) is a first-time title challenger whose four-fight winning streak includes highly entertaining five-round victories over Mike Hamel, Erick Sanchez, Jeremy Kennedy, and most recently Mads Burnell. His most notable win is a flying knee KO of Aaron Pico in 2019.
While the co-main event features former champion McKee in his lightweight debut against UFC veteran Spike Carlyle. McKee hasn't fought since losing his title to Freire, and while he recently said he wanted to stay at featherweight for the trilogy matchup, it appears his long 155-pound Waiting is coming.
