UFC 272 card:Live results Masvidal vs Covington Live results and all fights this weekend

The UFC is returning to PPV on Saturday, March 5 from Las Vegas with a rare non-title main event. At the top of the list is the much-anticipated feud between former friends and team-mate Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington.

UFC pay-per-view is rarely in the headlines for non-title bouts, but this weekend's clash between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington is so intense that it is the main event of the UFC 272. Will work as

Covington and Masvidal are former allies who have become hateful enemies. While fans have long wanted to see the two squares in Octagon, the two are tied to their individual feud with UFC welterweight champion Kumaro Usman.

The two Americans were former close friends and teammates, and even lived together before their relationship broke down and left Welterweight as a bitter rival, their resentment likely to continue beyond this week's fight. ۔

Masvidal (35-15) and former interim champion Covington (16-3) have both had a brief bout against title-holder Kumaru Usman twice in recent years, meaning they are just a few shots away from another shot at Gold. Every man can do this to start a fresh march towards the welterweight belt, to win a big victory against the other here.

When asked what the headlines will be the morning after this weekend’s main event, Masvidal told ESPN: “Colby in critical condition, might not fully make it.” The controversial Covington, meanwhile, told TMZ: “I’m gonna drag it out, I’m gonna make him suffer. It’s gonna be a funeral.”

The UFC 272 fight card also includes a five-round non-title fight between lightweight Rafael Dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev, a meeting between top-ranked Strawweight Yan Xiaonan and Marina Rodriguez, and a featherweight match-up. Includes the return of Bryce Mitchell, an expert on As he confronts the amazing trend Edson Barboza.

Rafael Dos Anjos' fight in the co-main event was expected to be a match for Rafael Fizien when Bout was pushed back when Fizien had problems obtaining his visa. But now the fight is over again when fizien tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. Now will be replaced by Renato Moicano, who is set to win the UFC 271 against Alexander Hernandez just three weeks ago. The contest will be a five-round, untitled affair - for the first time in promotional history, the main and co-main will compete in five rounds with no title at stake.
