the Brave
One Championship "Only the
Brave" is going to be a big event with the heavyweight world title. When
two invincible knockout fighters will shed each other's blood to sleep.
Anatoliy Malykhin and Kirill
Grishenko will compete for the interim heavyweight crown in the main event of
the "Only the Brave" championship on January 28.
An official revealed the full lineup
in a press release on Friday - highlighting the semi-final round of the
Featherweight Kickboxing Grand Prix.
In the main event, rising superstar
Anatoly Malekhan will face top seed Karl Gershenko for the One Interim
Heavyweight World Championship. This match will be the most important and
thrilling of its kind at the moment as both the fighters are strong and agile
and most importantly both are unbeatable in their careers. And almost every
opponent in front of him has been knocked out in minutes, and now the two will
fight for gold.
The main event will feature a featherweight
mixed martial arts competition. South Korea's # 1 ranked Kim Jae Wong (12-4)
will face China's # 4 ranked Tang Kai (13-2).
Tang Kai will enter the bout after
winning all five of his competitions under the One Championship banner. In all,
he has won eight fights. Kim has won two straight, most recently defeating
former double champion Martin Nguyen in one round via TKO.
Also on the card are four of the
world's best strikers, as the two semi-finals of the ONE Featherweight
Kickboxing World Grand Prix will take place on the same night, with Marat
Gregory vs. Genghis Lazov and Sethichai vs. Duty. It will happen Chinese MMA
superstar Zhang Liping also returned to action.
